I actually liked this novel the best out of all the Margaret Peterson Haddix novels that I've read so far. It was great adventure novel! I think the way she had her characters reactions were right on target! Especially the protaganist Jessie, as she is reacting to technology that's all new to her. I even liked the repercussions and resolutions the parents and children were faced with after the climax.
