The art is gorgeous. Even if the storyline is crazy, and ridiculous...beautiful art detail. A girl is sacrificed to the Water God when her village suffers drought. Taken to where the "gods" reside she is introduce to her "husband." A tiny petulant child who is actually a cursed god in disguised. At night, he turns into a grown man and proceeds to woo his bride. How she doesn't make the connection, and it drags on...remains a mystery to me. Enter other gods who all have mischief and schemes and past issues...and you still remain focused on how talented the artist is...
