The Invention of Hugo Cabret - Brian Selznick I liked this book better than Wonderstruck. Only problem, I kept trying to figure out how did the last few drawings at the end relate to the book? In general though, I love the clever plot to introduce children not only to the "beginnings" of movie, but the real life pioneer of movies Georges Melies. What was even more astounding is the concept of a graphic chapter novel. I think this book is a great medium between picture books and "chapter" books.
